Rock Symphonica inspired by an admittedly curious fascination for those interesting creatures of lore :)
Haunting and hard hitting, mostly spoken word hip hop/symphonic rock tune decrying racism and discrimination from the standpoint of a very concerned white man.
Power ballad deriding the false values fuelling the scourge of weapons violence in "christian" America and the world over, featuring lush harmonies and orchestration, plus some searing lead guitars.
Hard rock chorus and break, with melodic verses featuring some animated synth/piano, with lyrics posing questions regarding the challenges facing mankind.
Rocker featuring a fairly elaborate and emotive arrangement. Wishful thinking in the face of modern existential threats. The clock is ticking.
All out piano/guitar/synth rocker regarding hunger of the body and spirit. First written in the 80's during the period of the mass African starvations, and the Live Aid concert.
Other worldly sounds and contemplative lyrics. Recorded solely with acoustic/electric/synth 3 voice guitar, plus drums by Steve James, and one of my favourite guitar solos towards the end.
